The OAG's Vision: " To be an effective and efficient SAI in promoting public accountability in the use of resources in the enhancement of good governance"
The OAG's Mission Statement represents the purpose and role of the organisation in line with the statutory and professional duties and, the interests of the stakeholders.
The OAG's: Mission: " To audit and report to the public and thereby make an effective contribution in improving public accountability"
The OAG plans to achieve this mission through:
- enhancing the quality of audits carried out by the Office; and
- spreading the OAG outreach to all the public offices and organisations
In order to accomplish its mission the OAG has prepared its Corporate Plan which charts the way forward for the Office to the year 2006-2011
